ATB Movie Night: The Hunt for Red October

[00:00:09] Welcome back to Around the Buoy with a quick Movie Night announcement. Tyler, we're back after a couple years. We're back at it, my friend.

[00:00:19] That's right. In partnership with Latitude Yacht Brokerage, we are hosting the screening of The Hunt for Red October, the 1990s naval spy thriller by Tom Clancy.

[00:00:29] Tyler, this is the one that really kind of started it all. It's the first Jack Ryan Clancy book, which is really exciting because that is the best series of all the Clancies. The Jack Ryans are incredible.

[00:00:41] For frequent listeners to the show, they're going to know that Carter and I both love this movie. Based on the incredibly popular Tom Clancy book, The Hunt for Red October, it is packed in 1990s stardom.

[00:00:53] It follows the story of a rogue Soviet submarine commander played by the very Russian Sean Connery as he attempts to defect to the United States with the help of Alec Baldwin, James Earl Jones and Scott Glenn.

[00:01:07] You have a chance if you haven't seen it yet, you've got to see this movie on the big screen.
